Q: Is Anesthesia Plan HIPAA compliant?

Damnit Jim! I'm a doctor not a laywer! I cannot speak definitively one way or another when it comes to HIPAA compliance. I can assure you that nothing that is input into this website is stored on the server, and the information that is input is encrypted between your computer and the server that processes it. There is no database that holds onto any of this information or anything like that. It only takes the data you provide and reformats it into a format that makes it easier for you to use.

Q: I can't print more than one page of cases, what gives?

What web browser are you using? Is it Firefox? Because as much as I love it, Firefox has bug with how it handles the printing of websites that are formatted like this one. I have not yet discovered a workaround for this that still keeps the case plans looking like they are supposed to. Try using Chrome.

Q: This is the best thing since sliced bread! How can I thank you?

Why thank you. Truthfully, I build this thing because I didn't like writing out my cases by hand at night, so I found a way to make it easier and prettier. Once I got it to work, I figured I should share. If you have the funds to spare, I certainly will not say no to small donation to help defray the costs of the server that hosts the site. Q: You know this thing could be better if you added [thing]?

You're probably right. I am not opposed to making additions and improvements to the tool. If you have a brilliant idea, or even something obvious that I overlooked that you think would make it better, feel free to drop me a line at suggestions@anestheisaplan.com. Keep in mind I am also a resident, so free time is not something I'm overflowing with. It may take me a while to respond, and quite a bit longer to implement your idea (if I'm able to at all).
